Pet Therapy

As many of you know, recently I had some surgery and spent a few days in the hospital. I returned home to a long recuperation. But it is all made easier due to some pet therapy, courtesy of Kelly.

As you can see, I wasn't feeling too well, and Kelly seemed a bit worried. She wrapped herself around my neck to keep me warm and help me recover.

I couldn't get up and around much for a few weeks, and she never strayed too far away.

A few days ago I had my post-op appointment and received my biopsy results--which were negative. Meaning positive results! You know what I mean. Yay! Here is the adorable card my husband gave me to celebrate.

Thanks for a loving family, I'm feeling stronger every day and well on my way to a complete recovery.

You can pass some time, relieve some stress, and spend time with family and friends playing online gaming. Today's versatile online games can help achieve everything from fitness to improved intellect. Figure out how you can have the best time gaming by using the article that follows.

If you buy pre-owned games, make certain to purchase a quality disc cleaner. It is almost impossible to tell ahead of time what condition used games will be in. Even though you may have let the discs get very dirty, the cleaning kit can help to get them working again. Research all the options that are available, though. There are a lot of cleaning kits out there.

Instead of a computer, try a regular gaming xbox system for your kids gaming pleasure. It is easier to control things like privacy and content on a playstation than it is on a PC. They may have a much more protected experience with a system.

Before you allow your children to play a online game, ensure you understand its rating. Some games have violent content and are meant for people that are over 18. Violence can give your children the wrong values, which may show later in life. Try to refrain from video games that promote violence for your children's sake.

If you come across a difficult game that is causing you to feel frustrated, it is a good idea to put it aside for awhile and return to it later. If you're not playing particularly well, try switching to another game to avoid frustration. Avoid frustration as it can negate the positive aspects of gaming.

It can be helpful to play a trial version of a game you are unsure about purchasing. These online game trials are extremely helpful in helping you determine if you want to spend your hard earned cash on a game. If you the trial of a certain game, try buying the full version.

Update your graphic drivers. If you do a lot of your gaming on your computer, you probably will want to have as clear a picture as possible. This is why you need the current graphic drivers. You can venture on over to the device manager section on your computer and see your latest graphic driver, then head to manufacturer's site to see if any new updates became available.

If you only play one or two genres of games, think about branching out. Most people tend to play just one kind of game. Trying out all sorts of video games makes it a lot of fun and a very rewarding experience.

Use the subtitle feature. Is it the cast that the dialogue of the game is hard to understand because of all the gunfire and music? Check in the menu for a subtitles option. This can usually be found in the audio section of the game. You can generally find a setting here to toggle subtitles on and off.

Check the Internet for ideas and tricks for you favorite games. When you get stuck somewhere in a game, it can frustrate you and maybe even make you give up. Consulting a walkthrough or asking other gamers on a message board is the surest way to conquer that tough level and start enjoying the game again.

Figure out how to operate the safety and parental controls of any gaming system that comes into your home. You can likely make adjustments that keep kids from viewing mature content. Some allow each gaming profile to be customized separately, allowing adults to enjoy games not meant for younger audiences.

You can get many hours of enjoyment from many different kinds of video gaming. Use this advice to make the best from your computer game purchases. The world of online gaming has evolved into a highly competitive market with games for everyone.
