Wednesday Pet Roundup

Hi and welcome to Wednesday Pet Roundup!

* Join the Million Heart Challenge to benefit canine heart disease research, and maybe win a trip too! PRNewswire brings you the details.

* Fox news reports that San Francisco is considering a ban on goldfish. The reason? "Inhumane suffering of the fish" and the way the fish are harvested.

* Friday is Take Your Dog to Work Day, but the Washington Post reports on one office dog--Bean, the Shih Tzu--who was given his pink slip after a year of faithful service.

* From Huff Post, a Massachusetts family happily found all 7 of their pet cats alive after a tornado destroyed their home.

What about you? Are you going to take your dog to work Friday? What do you think of the goldfish ban? And Kelly wants to know if you'd like to come play in the ferns with her!

The goldfish story is the stupid story du jour from San Francisco that always amuses but is never important.
