No Hot Dogs in Cars! 5 Helpful Tips.

Traveling with Ike and Kelly is always fun, but sometimes it leaves us stuck when we can't go into a restaurant or visit a shop. Petfinder has created this great infographic, with tips that can help! Keep your pet safe this summer. If you bring him with you, never leave him alone in the car.

  1. Great tips and advice, thanks. Too many people are unaware, and leave their dogs in the oven which is their car.

  2. Really great tips! Thanks! Have a great weekend.

  3. Very informative and helpful, Kelly and Ike!

I'm recently starting a similar project (but on ferrets) btw, it's called Ferrets As Pets, and do feel free to check the site out if you're a ferret lover too :)

Here's an example of a post on my website!

    Happy Father's Day!

  4. Tip #2 is always ideal. Even on cool days we'll leave one person in the car with Honey to monitor the temperature.

But it highlights how hard it is for a single person traveling with a dog (on vacation or when moving, for instance) who has to use the restroom. Especially when those restrooms have big "no dogs allowed" signs on the doors.

I'm not sure what the best solution is. If the dog could tolerate it, I'd suggest attaching their leash to a shady tree and asking another person walking their dog at the rest stop to keep an eye out.

  5. Thank you very much for sharing this tips. Its really great tips. Thanks for sharing

  6. I always plan my day accordingly when I bring my dog. I make sure to bring a bowl for water, make sure my errands are quick, always go thru the drive-thru if available, and try to make as many pet friendly stops as possible. Then off to the dog park!

  7. informative post.. thanks for sharing
